How to get your Pictures into the Forums!

If you want to post your Jaguar related photographs to the Jag-lovers Forums, a facility that's been available for a long time, then here's how to do it. Once you have posted one album, anyone reading your Forum posts will see a button linking to all your albums you generate.

  • First post your pictures to the Jag-lovers photo Album at this URL:
    http://www.jag-lovers.org/snaps/snap_add.php3
You can add up to 12 images on each album page

  • Once your submission is approved, you'll be sent a URL to access the entry - it looks like this:
    http://www.jag-lovers.org/v.htm?1072028086
Selecting the above link takes you to the Photo Album as normal - there's also a longer version:

    http://www.jag-lovers.org/snaps/snap_view.php3?id=1072028086
and you can use either below.

  • To display the album index within a forum post, simply include the link above within your post making sure it is on a separate line by itself - don't try to code it as a link, the forum will do that for you. Just paste a single line URL

  • Thats it! If all goes well, anyone viewing your post (as in the example above) will also see a small rendering of the Photo Album index entry like that in this post link:
    [xj-s] Leather redyeing
Selecting the image within the forum display then takes you to the photo Album where you van view the full size images as normal.

  • Here's another example that shows two separate Photo Album entries in the same forum post:
    [xj-s] XJ-S Superbird Revisited

The page for the forum post from the above looks like this:

Looking through the J-L photo album, I came up with two examples of
members who have used mesh on their XJ-Ss. This first example
    includes a mesh grill:

This next one shows you how to shape the mesh over a headlight for
ram air induction. It's easy to adapt this procedure to the grill
    as well:

  • Good luck with your postings!
